Israeli Ambassador to US to visit Jonathan Pollard
Israel's Ambassador in Washington, Michael Oren will visit Jonathan Pollard in prison on Tuesday. Pollard is serving a life sentence in the Butner Federal prison in North Carolina.
Pollard's wife Esther is set to join the ambassador on a visit on behalf of the Israeli government. The US government is aware of the planned visit. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
