Vilnai slams Lieberman's stance on Turkey ties

Minister Moshe Vilnai addressed Israel's relations with Turkey on Monday and said, "Whoever refers to the crisis with Turkey in terms of national pride does not understand the strategic reality in the Middle East."

Vilnai added: "Israel has an interest in maintaining good relations with Turkey and sadly our foreign minister does not understand this. When fighting is called for we'll fight, when a Gaza-bound ship needs stopping, we'll stop it, but sometimes one has to talk as well." (Hanan Greenberg)
