Doctors march to J'lem, say public health collapsing across country

Israel Medical Association Chairman Dr. Leonid Eidelman said during the doctors' march to the capital that "the public health services in Israel are collapsing both in the periphery and in the center of the country." Earlier, Eidelman announced a hunger strike until the medical professionals' demands are met.

The doctors are marching from the association's headquarters in Ramat Gan to Jerusalem, where a mass rally is expected to be held. (Nir Cohen)
