Palestinian, Israeli activists protest near al-Walaja
Around 50 Palestinians and Israelis are demonstrating at the village of al-Walaja near Bethlehem. They are protesting against the deforestation they claim is being carried out by security forces and the IDF as part of the separation fence infrastructure work.
Central Command said that the protestors rioted and refused to be removed by injunction. The IDF spokesman stated that some of the demonstrators were held for questioning. (Ronen Medzini)
