The Movement for Quality Government in Israel and Israel Union for Environmental Defense called upon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other ministers to not approve the pending appointment of former Jerusalem district planner, Binat Schwartz as the Interior Ministry's head of planning administration.
In a letter written by the organizations they claim Schwartz has not acted in a professional manner in number of cases. They mentioned the Holyland affair in which they say Schwartz had approved a plan which gave financial benefits to the project's entrepreneurs. (Yael Darel)
