High Court rejects Ze'evi murderer's appeal

None

The High Court on Thursday rejected the appeal of Ahad Olma who was convicted of murdering Minister Rehavam Ze'evi in 2001. Olma claimed that witnesses from the police and Shin Bet framed him for the murder to protect the guilty parties.

In their ruling the judges rejected his claims and stated that the witness testimonies were detailed, logical and supported by external reinforcement. Olma was one of the planners of the murder but was convicted for the murder itself as he was a leading factor in the operation. He is serving a life sentence. (Aviad Glickman)
