Israel's water consumption down by 7.5%

In 2011 Israel's water consumption decreased by 7.5% when compared with the previous year, data released by Mekorot, Israel's national water company revealed.
The sharpest decrease in water consumption registered was among farmers who reduced their water consumption by 12.6% while Israeli households also registered a decrease in water consumption – 3%. (Yael Darel)
