Bill to send those disposing illegally of waste to jail

The Knesset Internal Affairs and Environment Committee has approved for its second and third reading a bill stipulating stricter penalties for illegal waste disposal.
The bill states that beginning in October, anyone caught disposing of regular and construction waste illegally will be liable to receive a prison sentence of one to three years. (Yael Darel)
