A blast at a mine in the Lugansk region of Ukraine killed at least 16 miners on Friday, Interfax reported, citing the country's Emergencies Ministry.
Ten people were still unaccounted for. The explosion occured at 1:57 am local time, and two miners were hospitalized. (Reuters)
