Israeli swimmer Amit Ivri has reached the 50-meter backstroke semi-final in the 2011 World Swimming Championships in Shanghai.
Ivri ranked 16th in the qualifications with a score of 26:83 seconds. The semi-final will be held on Friday afternoon. (Oren Aharoni)
