Issawiya youths arrested on suspicion of lynch attempt

Police and Shin Bet forces arrested 17 youths suspected of the lynch attempt on Nir Nachshon in the past few weeks. Last June, Nachshon accidentally entered the village Issawiya in northeast Jerusalem and was pelted with stones.
An indictment against the suspects is expected in the coming days. They all face remand hearings. They are claiming that they thought Nachshon was a policeman disguised as an Arab. (Yair Altman)
