Livni: Doctors struggle to return pride to Israelis

Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni, who took part in the doctors' march from the Hadassah Medical Center to the Whol Rose Park in Jerusalem, told the protesters that "Your struggle isn't just for the future of Israel's public health system, but also to bring back honor and pride to the Israelis."

"If once upon a time every Jewish mother dreamed that her son or daughter would study medicine, today she knows that it means that they would need their parents' support for many more years," Livni added. (Yair Altman)
