Housing activists threaten bolstered protest effort

The organizers of the tent protest that has set up camp on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv said in a press conference that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must meet them for talks "based on social principles."

"If you choose to bring the public housing committee bill up for a vote on Wednesday, the public will come out on the streets, and you will face a civilian protest force," the organizers said, adding that the protest events of the past week are just a glimpse of what's to come if solutions are not offered.
