Supreme Court rules Katsav's appeal hearing to be public

None

The Supreme Court has rejected a motion by the State Prosecutor's Office to hold a closed-door hearing in former President Moshe Katsav's appeal.

The judges asserted that "there is no doubt that the complainant's privacy must be protected, but nevertheless, at this point, in light of the publicity ordered by the district court, the hearing should be primarily a public one." (Aviad Glickman)
