Yishai OKs plan to add 4,700 housing units to haredi city

Interior Minister Eli Yishai has approved a new construction plan for the city Harish, which is to be built in the Wadi Ara region. Some 8,800 new housing units, employment centers, public buildings and educational institutions are to be built as part of the plan.

The new version of the plan adds 4,700 housing units to the ones already approved. These units will be built to fulfill the needs of the ultra-Orthodox population. (Billie Frenkel)
