Kurdish rebels kill 3 Turkish soldiers

Authorities say Kurdish rebels killed three soldiers and wounded four others in an attack on a military vehicle in southeastern Turkey.

The governor's office in Van province says the militants used automatic weapons in the Monday attack near the village of Gedikbasi. It says the vehicle of a local governor was also hit. (AP)
