A Qassam rocket fired from the Gaza Strip exploded in an open area near Ashkelon, lightly wounding a 50-year-old woman. The woman was evacuated to a nearby hospital.
A siren was sounded in the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. (Shmulik Hadad)
