Oil hangs below $95 amid signs of weak US economy

Oil prices extended losses below $95 a barrel Tuesday in Asia amid investor concern about slowing global economic growth and crude demand.

 

Benchmark oil for August delivery was down 23 cents to $94.66 a barrel at midday Singapore time in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Crude fell 81 cents to settle at $94.89 on Monday. (AP)
