EU: No intention to recall ambassador to Damascus

A spokesperson of EU foreign policy Chief Catherine Ashton said the European Union has no intention of recalling its ambassador to Damascus, despite Italy's decision to recall its ambassador for "consultation."

The spokesperson said the head of the delegation will stay in Damascus in order to monitor the situation, said the spokesperson. (AFP)
