Ben-Eliezer: Mubarak's people turned their backs to him
Knesset Member Binyamin Ben-Eliezer (Labor) addressed the historic trial of ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, saying "he was one of the leaders who was able to keep the stability in the Middle East. He was entirely committed to the peace process with the Palestinians in Israel."
Ben-Eliezer added, "His people turn their backs to him during this painful hour. The Middle East after Mubarak will be completely different." (Moran Azulay)
