Deputy State Prosecutor Shai Nitzan met Wednesday with leading Religious-Zionist rabbis to discuss the recent personal threats he received, as well as riots by rightists over law enforcement operations in the West Bank and the arrest of Rabbis Dov Lior and Yitzchak Yosef.
The meeting, which was held in Nitzan's chambers, was attended by the chairman of th Ohr Etzion Yeshiva and Bnei Akiva Youth Movement head, Rabbi Haim Meir Drukman, Director of Beit Midrash Mahut Rabbi Elisha Vishlitzky, Director of Nahalat Yitzhak Rabbi Micha Halevi, and Religious-Zionist activist Chaim Pollak.

Deputy Attorney General Raz Nazari, Deputy Prosecutor for Criminal Cases Shuki Lemberger and Military Advocate General Avichai Mandelblit also took part in the meeting.
  • The meeting allowed for all sides to express their position regarding recent events, according to the Justice Ministry. However a full understanding was not reached, and it was agreed to continue the debate in the near future.
