Diplomat: UN nears Syria condemnation
A Security Council diplomat says members are close to agreement on a text that would condemn Syrian authorities for attacking civilians.
The diplomat, speaking on condition of anonymity because the council was meeting behind closed doors Wednesday, said the text also would condemn "widespread violations of human rights" and call for an immediate end to all violence. (AP)
