Dozens charged in US in intl child porn ring bust

MSNBC reported Wednesday that more than 70 people in the United States have been charged with taking part in an international child pornography ring that traded images over the Internet using sophisticated encryption, the Justice Department announced Wednesday.

Investigators discovered nearly 600 people around the world, including at least 72 in the US, who used a private, members-only Internet bulletin board called Dreamboard to access the images, authorities said. Agents have yet to identify all those involved because of the extensive encryption used by members, NBC News reported. (News agencies)
