Ashkelon mayor demands Iron Dome be deployed in city
Ashkelon Mayor Benny Vaknin urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak to deploy an Iron Dome battery in the city immediately in light of recent rocket fire.
On Wednesday, a Grad rocket exploded in the entrance to the city. Five people were lightly injured while seeking shelter. (Shmulik Hadad)
