More than 1,000 residents resign
More than 1,000 medical residents say they will hand in letters of resignation in protest against an agreement to be signed between the Medical Association and the Treasury.
"We love our profession, but cannot continue to occupy it under these conditions, so we hand in our resignation," representatives of the residents stated. The resignations are to take effect in 30 days. (Tomer Velmer and Neri Brener)
