Central European Estates, BIG Shopping Centers to build first mall in Serbia's second largest city; some €16 million invested in purchase of land, construction
The Central European Estates company of the Premium Group and BIG Shopping Centers have signed a funding agreement worth some €15 million (about $21 million) with a European banking corporation for the establishment of a first shopping mall in Novi Sad, Serbia's second biggest city.
The new project will include an indoor shopping center alongside an outdoor one, and will stretch over more than 30,000 square meters (323,000).
The center's construction began about a month ago. So far, the entrepreneurs have invested in the purchase of the land and construction some €16 million ($23 million) in capital.
