Erekat: PA, Hamas not coordinated on UN bid

Fatah senior official Saeb Erekat said Wednesday that the Palestinian Authority and Hamas are not coordinated when it comes to their bid for UN membership. "Unfortunately there has been no coordination thus far, but our door is open and we will welcome them at any time," he said.
Erekat added that a committee has been established to coordinate the UN recognition bid. Several Palestinian factions are represented in the committee. (Elior Levy)
