When it next convenes on Sunday the cabinet will not discuss the Kedmi inter-ministerial committee recommendations to lower milk prices and expand milk product imports.
The committee recommendations were approved by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who was hoping to get them approved in the cabinet meeting but many of the ministers, led by Agriculture Minister Orit Noked announced that they would vote against the recommendations. Meanwhile, the Dairy Council has made a decision by which "the council will continue to work to prevent the implementation of the Kedmi Committee recommendations. (Meirav Crystal)
