World Bank gives Egypt $2B

The World Bank has funneled $2 billion in aid funds to Egypt, given from its Institutional Support Fund, the Egypt Daily News reported.

 

The funds, which are part of the World Bank Partnership for Development program, are meant for the upgrading of railway line and irrigation systems, as well as for agricultural development. (News agencies)
