Yishai rejects criticism over Carmel blaze report

Interior Minster Eli Yishai informed he has received the rough draft of the State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss's report on the 2010 Carmel blaze events.
Yishai rejected any criticism against him, saying: "The State Comptroller examined the fire services from 1974, when I was still in school. The only one working was me. What do you expect, that I take a fire truck and drive to the field? Take over for the marshals?" Yishai said during a government meeting. (Ronen Medzini)
