The State Comptroller's Office has announced that a rough draft report on the 2010 Carmel blaze events was sent to a number of government officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Interior Minister Eli Yishai, Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz and Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch.
In an announcement issued by the office, in an unprecedented manner due to the fact that the report is not yet finalized, it was stated that "this draft reveals a long series of failures." Officials were instructed to return the draft back to the State Comptroller's Office within a month. (Aviad Glickman)
