Jerusalem light rail launch postponed

The Knesset finance Committee announced Sunday that it has approved the Transportation Ministry's request to postpone the launch date of the Jerusalem light rail system by a month. As per the request the test run will end on September 14th instead of next Friday.
Finance Committee Chairman Knesset Member Carmel Shama-Hacohen (Likud) said that "delaying the official launch is conditional and will only come into force if the committee finds that it is necessary security-wise. (Hillel Posek)
