PM: We need to decrease social gaps while safeguarding economy

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the socioeconomic protest movement sweeping Israel, saying "the goal is to reduce gaps and alleviate the middle-class on the one hand, and protect the economy and Israel's financial steadfastness on the other.
"Israelis are having trouble making ends meet and the social gaps are widening. We need to address these issues while safeguarding our economy," he said. (Avi Lavi)
