An Afghan official says a woman who works for the government of southern Kandahar province has been gunned down outside of her home.
Kandahar provincial spokesman Zalmai Ayubi says Rabia Sadat was getting into a car to go to her office on Tuesday morning when she was shot by a man who had been waiting nearby. (AP)
