About 70 activists are protesting a proposal to build Jordan's first nuclear reactor, citing the major risks it poses to people, water resources and agriculture.
The demonstrators, some wearing white jumpsuits, rallied Tuesday outside the office of the governor of the northern town of Mafraq, where Jordan is proposing to build the reactor. (AP)
