Defense Ministry director visits IDF veterans' protest tent, promises support

Defense Ministry Director-General Ehud Shani arrived the IDF veteran's protest tent near the HaKirya base in Tel Aviv, and expressed his willingness to support the veterans' rights – even if it means halting IDF projects.

Shani did not specify a timeline for the reform, blaming the Finance Ministry: "We are committed to (helping) you, but the Treasury doesn't care." He told the protesters that since no agreement has been reached, they should "put away the tent and go home." (Stav Spiback)
