Report: Mubarak slams Assad; says he should quit

Ousted President Hosni Mubarak criticized Bashar Assad's regime and the "crimes he committed against his countrymen," Egyptian daily al Gomhuriya reported on Wednesday.
According to the newspaper, Mubarak believes Assad should grant the wishes of the Syrian people and resign. (Roee Nahmias)
