Egyptian guards kill 2 Africans on way to Israel

Egyptian officials say border guards have shot and killed two Sudanese men who were trying to infiltrate into Israel. Security officials said the guards discovered a group of Africans near the border on Wednesday and ordered them to stop. The two ignored the warnings and were shot dead.
They said four other Africans surrendered and were not harmed. The incident took place about 10 kilometers south of the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza. (AP)
