Italy condemns 'barbaric' attacks on southern Israel
Italian Foreign Affairs Minister Franco Frattini condemned the "barbaric" attacks on southern Israel and called on the international community to step up efforts to prevent such incidents from occurring in the areas that have grown vulnerable to terrorism as result of the unrest in the Arab world.
"I would like to express my condolences and closeness to the Israeli people and government for the loss of life in the barbaric attacks today," Frattini said in a statement. (AFP)
