Egypt's Supreme Military Council expressed objection to any foreign interference in the security of the Sinai Peninsula.
"Egypt rejects any interference by any party in word, deed or expression of opinion in the security of Sinai," Information Minister Osama Heikal said in a statement. (AFP)
