None

Pini Cohen who is serving a two-year sentence after he was convicted of attacking Supreme Court President Dorit Beinish has appealed to the court against the decision of the parole board not to grant him an early release.

Cohen was initially sentenced to three years in prison after he hurled his shoe at Beinish during a Supreme Court hearing. His sentence was reduced to two years after he appealed to the Jerusalem District Court. Following a year in prison, Cohen had filed a request to the parole board asking to reduce one third of his sentence, but his request was rejected (Ra'anan Ben-Tzur).
