Report: Turkey mulling buffer zone on Syria border

Turkish media outlets claim Ankara is considering severing its ties with Damascus over the regime's ongoing crackdown on protesters, London-based Asharq Al-Awsat reported Tuesday.
According to the report, Turkey's national security council convened over the weekend and discussed the possibility of setting up a "buffer zone" at the border between the two states. (Roee Nahmias)
