An Eilat Policeman was suspended from duty on Tuesday after it was revealed that he had uploaded photos depicting the horrific events of last week's terror attack near Eilat to his Facebook page.
The officer uploaded the photoes as a "summary" of last Thursday's tragic events, which took place near the Egyptian border and claimed the lives of eight people.

Ynet learned that one of the explicit images uploaded to the officer's page shows the body of one of the terrorists killed on Highway 12, with his bloodied head clearly visible.
The Southern Police District's spokesman said Tuesday that "photographs are taken during operational activities as part of our learning process and in order to draw conclusions following each operation.
"In this case the officer used his personal account to upload the pictures and had published the information contrary to field security directives."
According to the spokesman "due to the severity of the act, the policeman was suspended immediately pending investigation findings."
