State-owned companies earn NIS 58 billion in 2010

The government-owned companies earned a revenue of NIS 58 billion ($16.2 billion) in 2010, according to a report submitted to Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz. The net profit stood at NIS 1 billion ($280 million).

According to the report, last year the state-owned companies and foundations earned NIS 3 billion ($840 million) more than in 2009. The biggest revenue earners were the Electric Corporation, the aerospace industry and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. (Avital Lahav)
