Senior diplomats meet in Turkey to discuss Libya's future

Senior diplomats from more than 30 nations are meeting in Istanbul to discuss ways of assisting Libya's opposition in the post-Muammar Gaddafi era and the unfreezing of billions in cash and assets that the rebels need to run the country.

Turkish officials say Mahmoud Jibril of Libya's National Transitional Council will also attend Thursday's so-called Contact Group meeting. (AP)
