Deputy FM to Spain: Don't support unilateral Palestinian step

Deputy Foreign Minister Daniel Ayalon met in Madrid with Spain's Foreign Minister Trinidad Jimenez, who said in a recent interview that she hopes the European Union supports the Palestinian statehood bid.
Ayalon clarified that Israel is expecting from Spain "not to cooperate with the Palestinians' unilateral and irresponsible steps," and called the Palestinians to return to the negotiations table. (Ronen Medzini)
