El Salvador to back PA's UN bid

El Salvador said it will back the Palestinian Authority's bid for UN recognition of a Palestinian state within the 1967 lines, the Palestinian WAFA news agency reported.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas reportedly thanked his El Salvador counterpart and said he hoped relations between the City of San Salvador and Ramallah will flourish. (Elior Levy)
