Officials in the Philippines say slow-moving Typhoon Nanmadol remains dangerous despite weakening after striking the tip of the north of the country. At least eight people have died and six others are missing.
Benito Ramos, who heads the Office of the Civil Defense, said Sunday that people perished in landslides or drowned after Nanmadol set off floods and landslides. (AP)
