Report: Shalit negotiations resume after Eid ul-Fitr holiday

During his visit to Mecca Egyptian Intelligence Minister Murad Muwafi met with Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal and among other things, discussed the possiblity of a prisoner exchange deal between Israel and Hamas, London's Al Hayat newspaper reported Sunday.
According to the report, the direct negotiations which began three weeks ago in Cairo are expected to resume after the Eid al-Fitr holiday which will occur next weekend. (Elior Levy)
