US: No specific terror threat for Sept. 11 date

President Barack Obama's homeland security and counterterrorism adviser says there's no specific or credible threat targeting the 10-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on the US But he says there are concerns that al-Qaeda or a terror-minded individual will see the anniversary as an opportunity to attack.
John Brennan told The Associated Press that officials worry about lone actors operating under the radar who are more difficult for the intelligence community to discover. (AP)
